The tart Matcha note comes into its own wonderfully and it is downright sinfully creamy. Sinfully creamy without sin - fits perfectly. In addition, the green color goes like a fist on the eye with summer.
A few weeks ago I stopped drinking coffee and replaced the morning hazelnut latte ritual with matcha latte. Matcha instead of espresso - and I can't get enough of this finely ground green tea. Matcha has been going in every form for some time.

EASY TO MAKE YOURSELF - FROM JUST 5 INGREDIENTS
But back to the ice cream recipe :) For this delicious ice cream you only need very few and simple ingredients:
Coconut milk as a base,
Dates for sweetness,
an avocado for the right consistency,
a pinch of salt to balance the flavors
and Matcha as the main actor. Without sugar, without dairy products, but with a lot of love!
And the preparation is really easy: put all the ingredients through the mixer and then put them in the ice cream maker for an hour. If you feel like it, you can use toasted coconut chips as a topping. Voilà, the super creamy, vegan Matcha ice cream is ready!

INGREDIENTS
500 ml coconut milk
8 Medjool dates (approx. 150 g , I used Medjool dates from narafood)
1 avocado
2 - 3 teaspoons of matcha
1 pinch of salt
optional: caramelized coconut chips as a topping
also needed: an ice machine
MANUAL
Core the dates and add them to the mixer with the other ingredients and puree for approx. 2 minutes until smooth.
Put in the ice cream maker and let cool down for an hour. Can then be eaten straight away (wonderfully creamy) or you pack the ice cream in the freezer for 2-3 hours and let it sit a little.
